I watched Saw2 yesterday and it was so horrible that I 魂不附体 and my spirit didn't come back until this morning therefore I couldn't blog yesterday.
Actaully, saw2 is a very ingenious movie. It teaches everyone the right moral values to have. Seriously. You should always treasure your life. Or else you wake up the next morning finding that you are chained to a pipe in a dirty toilet and someone saying "Game Over" and shutting the only door there is plunging your whole pathetic world in darkness. Basically you die since you do not appreciate your life.
The "killer" doesn't actually kill anyone and all he wants to do is to "test the fabric of the human nature" by testing their survival instinct through some very cool games. Like dig out a key that's in your eye using a knife just so that you can stop metal spikes from crushing your face. (the guy failed miserably).
Then there are some parts that are just unnecessarily gruesome. Like the part where a woman is in this pit full of needles and more and more poke into her with every move she makes. Her screams are still reasonating through my head. Bleah. But the twist is that the woman is an accomplice who won her own round of the game.
And time in this movie is not what it seems to be, which is actually the most ingenious part of it. If the detective hadn't done anything in the movie, everything would have been alright.
And no, don't think of these as spoilers, this is just a mental preparation for you. Now, stop being a wimp and go watch the movie.
