Ten-minute Pokémon challenge

Next time you play Pokémon, just give yourself ten minutes and see how far you can go.

I think I went further in ten minutes with a new game than in forty in my old game. Of course, that requires a lot of pressing of the space bar, but you'll find the space bar a very useful tool in chionging the game. It's a bit imba, I admit, but bloody effective.

By 5 minutes, I was already owning trainers.

By 10 minutes, I had two badges.

(I realised how lucky I was in not choosing Mudkip, because its first and second evolution stage Pokémon is so damn ugly I had to close my eyes while battling)

Then I learnt an important chemical concept - that actually ETHER, which gives Pokémon an extra 10 PP for whatever skill you choose, has a structure of R-O-R (single bonds), where R can be anything from CH3 to NH3. In other words, R just has to be some compound.

See - I take my learning of Chemistry even to Pokémon. This shows the APPLICATIONS of Chemistry, and how you can even apply it to Pokémon. In any case I'm back to my mugging of the textbook, because knowing the Chem teachers, they might not appreciate my additional knowledge on these Chemical concepts.
