By sheer luck and cunning i got a glimpse of the bonus question for maths for ct2. Being nice, i shall share it with everyone.
Imagine 3 men booking into a hotel room. ( Dont ask me why it's 3 men. I guess it sounds better than 2 men 1 woman or 2 women 1 man). The total cost for one night was $30.
The next day, the manager found out that the cost was $25 and he had overcharged then by $5. So he took out $5 and asked the bell boy to return it to them.
The bellboy being his usual coolio self decided to take things into his own hands. Since it's $5, it cannot be shared by 3 people so he pocketed $2 and let them share the rest of the $3.
So the $3 was shared amongst them 3 so each person paid ($10-$1=$9). Make sense so far??
Alright here's the question. Since each person paid $9. Three of them would have paid $27 in total. But adding the $2 that the bellboy took, the total is $29. SO WHERE DID THE $1 GO?

The question is irrelevant, cause when u multiply 9*3 to get $27, ure looking for how much the room costs AFTER discount.
u take 27- 2 (wat bell boytook), to get $25.
u cannot get the original cost from $9, cause its subtracted away... unless you take $9* 3 plus the 3 bucks they took back.
jokes zhenghong jokes.
I think it's cause you pay $30 to the manager and then he find out the men never eat breakfast at hotel so charge $5 cheaper. (damn cheapskate hotel)
So the bellboy's pay not food inhouse and free so he must pay for lunch so he take 2 dollars from the manager right? But actually he take 1 more dollar cuz 27/3 = 9 and the men decide to pay less money.
