CTs Day Two

You know, let me tell you what I think of today's Chemistry paper.. it wasn't that easy, nor was it that hard. But I would like to leave you a quote that I've just learnt from a very famous chemist. I bet you wouldn't know HE was a famous chemist until you read this post.

I was very surprised too, but it's him all right.

This proves that even if you intend to be a detective next time, you need Chemistry. I think Chemistry is the second most important thing in my life - the most important being Maths, which is coming up tomorrow. But since Maths is pretty non-muggable, it is important that I start on Physics today.

Let me show you some applications of how Physics can be related to Chemistry.

Does this make any sense to you?

The electrons that flow into V are called Sec 1s. The electrons that flow OUT of V are called Sec 4s. PS is more reactive than JC. So what the hell is V?

Simple. V = RI!! And there you have it, Physics and Chemistry all rolled into one. You have the chemical concept of the electrolytic cell and the physical concept of V = RI. Damn, I'm good. Next time I aspire to be a goldsmith. After all they do nothing but break locks and make links. Well I don't exactly break locks (not even for the computer console in class, I leave it to Barney) - I only draw links between different stuff. So since I like links so much, I think I'd be a goldsmith.

On second thoughts, I think I still want to be a musician. After all today I could blow almost the whole tune of Littleroot Town - except the bloody high-pitched part where it involves a lot of skill. The Integrals are coming along very nicely, only that we STILL don't have any money and YL still refuses to sing. Not like there's anything to sing for Littleroot anyway, but nothing is impossible so it's only a matter of choice.

AND WILL SOMEONE DONATE YH A PARTY HORN! We really want to get our band going you know.

Yes it's CT period but music always helps in relieving stress. Unless you take MEP, which means another subject to mug for CTs. Talk about that I think there's Biology tomorrow also - which I'm not taking! Think many of them are going to drop Bio in JC - so what's the point studying it in secondary school?

No point. Which is why I didn't take Biology. Now come to think of it, that was a wise move. However, I can provide you some pointers for Biology if you do want them. They're study tips that can be applied anywhere for any subject.

1) The subject biology is entirely memory work - so one minute before the exam just cram all the facts you can into your head and when you get the paper write it all down. Full marks.

2) If they ask you a one-mark question, answer to the point. If it's two marks, answer to the point and add some crap of your own. If it's any more, just give all crap. (Applies to Chemistry and Physics as well).

3) Do bonus question. GPA 4.4.

Easily ensured an A+ if you follow the above tips. If you followed what I said and still don't get your A+, then blame it on your own stupidity. I will not accept any responsibility should you fail in your Biology CT.

Well, today is Day Nine of my ten-day no-MSN campaign. Reminds me of how far I've come since bloody Day One on the 9th of October. No MSN simply means more time for games and less distraction. So I'm not looking forward to using MSN again.

Though after CTs I think I might use a little bit. Depends if it affects my jamming schedule. After all I play the recorder four hours a day now that it's CTs. If not why you think the school let us come back early during CT period? For more relaxation, of course. Surely they don't expect you to mug.. since it's only CTs, not O level. But then again it's a matter of perspective so if you want to mug I guess it's your choice.

Lastly, this is for all my fellow classmates from the Reichstag, better known as 4J.

Die Lehrer, Frau Neoh, is probably (by saying that I mean there's a 70.2% (3 sf) chance) leaving us from tomorrow onwards, because she told me today that from tomorrow onwards I'll be the one taking attendance. I am thus giving you an irresistable offer, especially if you are one to skip school or come late.

Of course, it comes with a small fee. Don't worry, it's not a lot. I don't like to extort money from my fellow members of the Reichstag.

From 0 to 1 (ie to be present if you pon school): $1
From 0 to 0E (ie to be excused if you pon school): 50¢
From 0 to 0M (ie to be medically certified if you pon school): an MC will do
An auto 1 (good for those who come late!) everyday:
If you look like you'll abuse me and pon school: $1/day
If I trust you: 20¢/day

It goes something like that. It really depends on whether I trust you or not. I'll modify the prices if you think I'm being very unreasonable. And before any of you anonymous fags on the tagboard come to flame me about being corrupt just remember the address of this blog.

That's all for my dear classmates. And that's all I have for now.
