I'm sorry we didn't have any presents for you yh but you were still so touched that we remembered your birthday that you cried all the way home. In fact, tears were falling from you in bucketloads and your eyes were so red I couldn't bear to look at them. Maybe, just maybe, it was because of the chlorine from the swimming pool water. But I prefer the more romantic explanation.
