The Future Evolution of Man

Biology is a very relevant topic, because evolution is still happening all around us, and i have one idea how the idea of evolution can be applied in the modern world. Within the theory of evolution lies the formation of new species and how it comes about.

Usually it starts with reproductive isolation within a population due to some reasons like different mating times and feeding times etc. Then they start to mutate and have natural selection independent of the other groups, which finally lead to them being unable to interbreed anymore, forming a new species.

Which is exacly what's happening now in our world where Muslims can only marry Muslims and most Christians marry only Christians. What we're currently witnessing is the formation of new species of mankind. Due to the fact that atheists and religious people no longer interbreed due to different beliefs, gene flow is stopped, and the genes of the groups mutate independently. Natural selection also takes place independently, and after a while, their genes would be so different that even if they mate with each other, they would not produce fertile and viable offspring thanks to postzygotic and prezygotic mechanisms. This is also known as sympatric speciation as there are no geographical barriers and speciation occurs while the groups are living in the same habitat.

This is evolution occuring because the allele frequencies are no longer constant, due to nonrandom mating in this case. So in the next 10 000 years or so, there will be a few species of man. One species that reads the Bible, another that reads the Koran and yet another that reads TCS. A bright future lies ahead.
